Dr. Chara Pasternack graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She joined the practice after completing a one-year general practice residency program at Virtua Hospital and a two-year pediatric dental specialty residency program at Temple University Health Systems, Episcopal Hospital Division in Philadelphia. Dr. Chara is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Board of Pediatric Dentists, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Society.
Dr. Chara is credentialed at the Surgical Center of South Jersey, Mt. Laurel, where she treats special needs children, extremely fearful children and children who are unable to cooperate in the dental office.
It is not surprising Dr. Chara has become a pediatric dentist, joining with her father, Paul, in 2010, as she had helped at the practice through high school, college, and dental school.
When Chara is not in the office, her favorite place to be is with her family at the beach.
